Another year has rolled around again and the organizers of The Urban Marketplace (TUM) DeeDee George and Somachi Chikwe have done it once again. This event took place at the same location it debuted last year at the Civic center in downtown Silver Spring Maryland. The event was packed with lots of vendors that provided a variety of services ranging from Event Designers, Planning & Management, Décor, Wedding Photographers, Invitations, Videographers, Makeup Specialist, Music Production, Jewelry, Fashion Retailers, Fabric Sale, Speciality Food Providers and Hair & Accessories.
Guests were greeted by the beautiful TUM hostesses as they came into the event lobby and their free registration was handled by Kojami.com.
While the guests were shopping, they were also entertained by wall-to-wall fashion show runway from fashion retailers showing their latest designs. Also as the fashion show was going on DJ Universe was relentless with the music play by giving us a reason to keep our heads bobbing and feet moving to the latest jams, and as if this was not enough we had wonderful performaces from EYNE & Simisola Music.
Getting a free gift bag was not an exception this year, It was an event where you could get great deals & tips on fashion, wedding designs, free makeup sessions and exquisite looking wedding photo albums.
Once again a big round of applause to DeeDee George and Somachi Chikwe for an elegant and well planned event. Looking forward to TUM 2013. Hope to see you all there.
